Job Description

This position is responsible to improve inventory management at all customers through data analysis, storage, loading / unloading and good other practices. Overall, plays a critical role in supporting and driving sales in an excellent manner. Involves travel across the country.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and lead good warehousing practices at all customers

  • Preparing and implementing guidelines for storage, loading / unloading at warehouse and vans

  • Collecting and monitoring inventory data from all customers including FG in, FG out, damage / obsolete FG if any for corrective actions

  • Develop & communicate best practices

  • Setting up expectations and processes for cross functional dependencies like Logistics, QC, Production and Planning

  • Setting up KPIs for Customers and driving them to achieve the same

  • Generate and define key metrics dashboard and monitor distributor performance

  • Training customer staff with the help of internal team

  • Build positive working relationship with all customers for continuous business growth

  • Visiting customers as per defined frequency to monitor and improve deliverables

  • He/She will be submitting the relevant reports prescribed by authority & required by MIS.

  • Any other related tasks assigned by HOD. 

COMPETENCIES: -

  •  Sales and Logistics experience and good knowledge of current trends

  • Is persuasive and can easily influence others

  • Has good leadership and communications skills, both written and verbal

  • Is proactive and anticipates potential problems before they can hinder a company’s success

  • Possesses good customer service skills

  • Maintains a positive attitude and constantly encourages others

  • Is loyal to the company

 QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management or any related fields.

  • Demonstrated track-record and experience to manage extended team

  • Ability to analyze data and provide insights from data

Experience:

  • Minimum of  2 years of experience in a similar role
