Procurement managers, also known as purchasing managers, manage a company’s sourcing capabilities and supply chain. They are responsible for strategizing and negotiating with suppliers and vendors in order to acquire the most cost-effective deals and to reduce procurement expenses.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.

• Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.

• Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.

• Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.

Required Skills:

• Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management

•  Interest in market dynamics along with business sense

• A knack for negotiation and networking

•  Ability to manage and control stock

• Solid judgment with ability to make good decisions

•  Strong leadership capabilities

•  Training and capacity-building knowledge would be an advantage

Job Requirements:

• MA/ BA Degree in Procurement and supplies ,Marketing Management , Accounting and related field

Experience:

• The candidate must have proven and significant experience in the field

• 6 years for Bachelor's Degree/4 years for Master's Degree
