We would like to advertise for the following position:

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines

• Implement HSE policies to establish a culture of health and safety

• Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law

• Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention

• Monitor compliance to policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations

• Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions

• Investigate accidents or incidents to discover the root causes and mitigate from occurring again

• Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures

• Report on health and safety awareness, issues and statistics

• In charge of health and safety measures in the organization

• Control team performance and health and safety performance

• Developing and implementing security policies, protocols and procedure

• Create reports for management on security status

• Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events

• Ensure practices and principles of Quality management system are followed as documented in the QMS

• Any other related duty as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

• Perform all tasks in line with BSC.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• NEBOSH HSE Training is mandatory

• Minimum Degree in Telecommunication, Civil, Engineering, Electrical or related field

• 5 years’ experience in Health and Safety and Security management preferably telecommunications, ICT field.

• Working knowledge of emergency and safety procedures

• Working knowledge of laws and regulations related to the environment and workplace health and safety

• Knowledge of security protocols and procedures

• Valid Driving license
