We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. If you have a minimum of 5 Years Of Experience Working As An Accountant and possess expertise in using Peachtree Software, we want to hear from you!

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day activities and transactions and lead the monthly closing cycle

• Perform all payments, collections, and deposits.

• Ensures accounting, financial accounting and reports prepared are in conformance with accepted accounting principles and governing guidelines, accuracy, and completeness.

• Support the budget & forecasting process

• Ensure and perform accurate payroll

• Reconciling daily, monthly and yearly transactions and preparing financial reports.

• Supervises the closing of accounts and the preparations of monthly, interim, and annual financial statements.

• Having responsibility of e-tax, e-archive, e-invoice processes, and e-ledger obligations

• Managing the External Auditor relationship and ensuring the organization is compliant with accounting standards

• Make sure performance of Government obligation has made on time

• Respect and ensure application of both Finance and internal control procedures, in accordance with company guidelines, in order to minimize the risks of mistakes and fraud. Successfully pass the external audits on the financial results

• Performs other duties assigned by General Manager

Job Requirements

• 5+ Years’ Experience as a senior Accountant preferably in Logistics industry

• Skills in accounting software (Peachtree, sage 50) and overall tech proficiency.

• Demonstrates excellent organization, efficiency, teamwork, and entrepreneurial (work under little or no guidance, and perform under pressure).

• She/He has experience in import and export.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and finance.

• Excellent written and verbal English and Amharic skills
