Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Parts Sales Executive to join our team. As a Parts Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth parts operations, serving customers with a smile, and managing inventory efficiently. Your keen eye for identifying parts demand and exceptional customer service skills will be vital in meeting customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
Efficiently handle parts orders, ensuring timely tracking and delivery to meet customer needs and service department requirements.
Utilise electronic parts catalogues to identify and locate specific parts for customer orders and service requests.
Proactively identify parts demand based on market trends and customer feedback to ensure readiness for future requirements.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
Collaborate with the sales and service teams to understand their parts requirements and coordinate timely order placements.
Maintain accurate records of parts inventory and conduct regular stock checks to avoid shortages and excess inventory.
Assist in creating and managing a comprehensive parts inventory system to streamline stock management and parts tracking processes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
Stay updated with industry developments and changes in vehicle models to enhance product knowledge.
Regularly report the department's performance to the Parts Supervisor and Business Manager.
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Experience
Minimum of five years of experience in Parts operation and sales, preferably in the automotive industry.
Knowledge & Skills
Proficiency in using electronic parts catalogues and a keen eye for identifying parts demand.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to manage parts inventory efficiently.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide exceptional customer service.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Familiarity with parts inventory management systems and software is advantageous.
