• To install and maintain the electrical installations of Unit 2

Key Responsibilities

• To work out the requirement of HT and LT of New unit based on the list of machines and systems intended to install

• To work with Project manager in completing the statutory requirement of Unit2 Electrification

• To work with consultant in getting the BOQ, Tender documents, quotes and finalizing the tender along with Project manager and top management

• Ensure the contractors work in line with the BOQ and complete the electrification work of New Unit as per the schedule and within the budget

• To monitor and control the electrical activities by contractors during installation period of New Unit

• Take care of the instrumentation and control cabling are laid down properly

• Prepare the list of critical spares of electrical maintenance and instrumentation and inform stores to hold the minimum stock

• Prepare the preventive maintenance schedule and ensure its implementation

• The electrical and instrumentation break down to be below 2%

• Ensure regular preventive maintenance is being carried out by team and monitor them on daily basis

• Daily shop floor rounds and observing the health of the instruments and electrical installations

• Timely submission of statutory returns and carrying out statutory checkups, coordinate with electrical inspectorate

• Selecting and training the electrical engineers and electricians

• Participate and implement the Quality, Food safety and ERP system implementation

• Ensuring the quality, food safety, ERP systems do not get affected due to the functioning of electrical department

• Weekly and Monthly MIS submission on time

Education & Experience: B.E – Electrical 7 years in a busy reputable company preferably in manufacturing or agro processing. At least 7 to 13 yrs in a related field.

• Normal electrical, Instrumentation and electronics Maintenance and Electrical system installations.

• Electronic and Instrumentation maintenance and installation desirable

• Reading Ladder drawing is desirable
