We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative R&D Specialist to join our research and development team. The R&D Specialist will be responsible for conducting scientific research, developing new products or technologies, and improving existing products or processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scientific research, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.

Responsibilities:

•  Conduct scientific research and experiments to develop new products or technologies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, chemists, and product managers, to define project objectives and timelines.

• Design and execute experiments, analyze data, and interpret results to drive innovation and product improvement.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field through literature reviews, attending conferences, and participating in professional development opportunities.

• Identify and evaluate new technologies or methodologies that could enhance product development processes.

• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate research findings and project updates.

• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to scale up production processes and ensure product quality and consistency.

• Work closely with regulatory affairs teams to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for new product concepts or enhancements.

• Maintain accurate records of experiments, protocols, and results in accordance with company policies and industry best practices.

Job Requirements

•  Master's degree or Ph.D. in a scientific discipline, such as chemistry, biology, or engineering.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in research and development, preferably in a related industry.

• Strong knowledge of scientific principles, experimental design, and data analysis techniques.

• Proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment relevant to the field of specialization.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as statistical analysis software and laboratory information management systems.

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality management systems is preferred.

• Willingness to travel as required.
