Job Summary

The Press operator is responsible to assist and work together with the main press operator in operating running & managing the whole line from press to cooler of the pasta & macaroni lines. He/she is also responsible to operate and run the heating & utility systems such as boiler chiller, compressor and their transportation lines

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receives work order and instruction from the Production Manager/Shift leader.

• Checks that there is sufficient and proper quality raw material. Report to the  Production Manager/Shift leader.

• Ensure that proper action is taken to non-conformities reported.

• Ensures that the running machines are in good conditions and the WIP is in good condition and comply the processing parameters.

• Keep the processing machineries and working environments are clean and hygienic.

• Prevents any wastage of raw materials, WIPs.

• Prevents any type of accidents and damage to peoples around.

• Prepares daily shift report.

• Execute similar activities when ordered by Shift Leader or Production Manager.

Job Requirements

COMPETENCIES: -

•  Good operating skills and experience with similar machinery

• Good process & product knowledge

• Good reporting skill

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• TVET graduate with level II and above in manufacturing general mechanic, electricity, industrial machine drive and related fields.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2  years of proven experience in similar production lines.
