Ablaze Labs is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Import and Export Manager to oversee the importation and exportation of construction materials, specifically aluminum, for our company. As an Import and Export Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire import and export process, ensuring timely delivery, compliance with legal requirements, and cost-effective operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute import and export strategies for construction materials,

• Identify potential suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and conditions for importation.

• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure accurate and timely order placement, shipment, and delivery.

• Manage all documentation related to import and export, including customs clearance, permits, licenses, and certificates.

• Stay updated on international trade regulations, tariffs, and customs requirements to ensure compliance.

• Identifying, contacting, and establishing strong working relationships with buyers, suppliers, forwarders, transport companies, banks, and other involved parties.

• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and emerging trends in the construction materials industry.

• Follow up the international market, predicting and managing it to exploit advantages and to reduce or avoid threats.

• Collaborate with internal departments, such as procurement, logistics, and finance, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery.

• Monitor and analyze import and export costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement efficient processes.

• Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to import and export operations, such as delays, damages, or quality concerns.

• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs officials, and other relevant stakeholders.

•  Plan and coordinate shipment for export and import

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• 5 years experience as an Import and Export Manager, specifically in the construction materials and Electromechanical works

• In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.

• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
