POSITION SUMMARY The Project Manager / Senior Project officer at Minaye will be responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. Project Manager / Senior Project officer plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.

  • Work with Strategic initiative Director in tracking progress and reporting.

  • Include both internal and external stakeholder in project plan.

  • Organize, schedule and maintain internal and external resources.

  • Ensure delivery of timely and cost-effective project.

  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs.

  • Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for executive staff.

  • Leverage existing internal resources in project implementation.

  • Manage suppliers and services providers.

  • Provide support to implementers in problem solving

  • Work with legal department to fulfil and update all legal requirement (permits,) during project implementation.

  • Set-up team and legal documentation (licensing) for take over after implementation is completed. 

  • Support the director of the strategic project with data gathering and analysis.

  • Plan a project site visit and write a report about the journey.

  • For new or expanded ideas, collaborate with the team on a feasibility study and business strategy.

  • Work on new or expansion ideas.

  • Apply for loan and follow up the loan status with a bank.

  • work on the marketing Set up projects at the corporate level.

  • Attend the strategic initiative meeting and take charge of taking minutes.

  • Ensure that all business unit's strategic initiative discussions are conducted in accordance with the schedule.

  • Follow up with team members on the task assigned to them at the strategic initiative meeting. 

  • Make sure everyone is in agreement with the meeting schedule and distribute the minutes of the strategic initiative meeting on time.

  • Work on the task given by the director and otherwise reporting manager.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • MS or BS degree in Project, Business Administration or related field.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as Project Manager. Knowledge, Skills,

Competence:

  • Proven working experience as a Project Manger

  • Solid understanding of project process group and knowledge areas.

  • Excellent Project Management software user

  • Strong Communication skills.

  • Strong follow up skills

  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
