Our Company SBG industry PLC seeks to hire competent, experienced and aspiring applicants to fill the following vacant position.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares the SOPs for hygiene and sanitation of the room, machineries and personnel’s

• Ensure the development, implementation and updating of required written safety and health programs and plans.

• Oversees and ensures the implementation of GMP (Good Manufacturing practice) procedures.

• Follow up the health status of food handlers

• Gives Training for Food Handlers

• Assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety assessments to support Health, Safety and Environmental management.

• Maintain relevant HSE logs and documentation.

• Assist in the compliance of applicable laws and regulations.

• Prepare applicable HSE reports as necessary.

• Provide assistance and advice on HSE issues to make recommendations to facility management.

• Participate in detailed incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis

• Promote incident prevention for the benefit of employees and visitors.

• Assist in the development and presentation of relevant HSE training

• Observe HSE regulations, wears all required safety equipment, encourage safe working practices, corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports them to the proper personnel.

• Ability to work with employees and achieve cultural change in the face of potential resistance

• Maintain positive and proactive relations with managers and employees, as well as our customers and regulatory agencies.

• Perform other work-related tasks as required as assigned

• Comply with all the Company and HSE procedures and policies.

• Coordinate accident / injury investigations within area of responsibility and where necessary as per requirement, lead investigations and ensure tracking and close out of CAR's.

• Liaison with municipality authorities and other relevant organizations concerning environment, employees’ health and occupational safety.

• To maintain up to date of the latest safety requirements of area and report changes to management

• To continually maintain an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge and preparedness across the organization, HSE managers coordinate training programs for employees

• Investigating Workplace Incidents

• Workplace Inspections-Safety officers inspect interior and exterior work areas to determine if there are any safety hazards.

Controls

• the waste management and disposal system

• Identifies the possible sources of food contamination (physical, chemical and biological), prepares the preventing mechanisms and implement as per procedure.

• prepare the possible sources of safety hazards

• the nearby expiry date products and gives precaution ideas for the factory

• Oversee maintenance of health and safety processes, systems, and procedures

• Champion health and safety management within SBG Industry PLC and to offer support, technical assistance and encouragement to managers, supervisors, shift leaders

• Maintain a health and safety compliance system which incorporates monitoring legislative developments and amendments and advising SBG Industry PLC management of implications to current practice

• Manage stock of PPE as well as cleaning and sanitation materials in collaboration with store

• Manage Pest Control Activities

• Coordinate and manage Environmental Management system implementation and initiatives

• Represent employees from their work group on health and safety matters

• Investigate health and safety related complaints

• Make representations to management and report back to employees on any matter relating to health and safety

• Discuss with the employees, any proposals or matters which may affect the health and safety of employees

• Assist management in the identification of hazards, the assessment of risks and implementation of risk control measures

• Assist in promoting adherence to health and safety policies and procedures

• Assist in the monitoring of risk controls and health and safety policies and procedures

• Implement appropriate waste management system

• Oversees and ensures the waste management system

• Implement good hygienic practice throughout SBG Industry PLC-Plant-premises, production rooms, finished and raw materials stores, employees facilities and warehouses
