Job Description

To establish an intermediary between the Bank and the customer, maintain strong long-lasting relationships, and increase volume of loans, while fulfilling standards of service quality, prompt service delivery, and quality of loans.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Target potential customers, identify their needs, recruit and establish credit relationship.

  • Advise/consult customer about the credit process, types, terms, eligibility, utilization, debt servicing, etc and cross-sells products.

  • Collect and check all required loan processing documents and provide acknowledgement letter to the customer.

  • Gather adequate financial and non-financial information about the customer and forward to the credit risk analysis team including loan-processing documents collected from customer.

  • Evaluate the business performance of the customer & recommend on customer’s loan request.

  • Facilitate collateral estimation, credit information, legal opinion, and loan and mortgage contracts preparation.

  • Sign on the contracts with attorney and facilitate registration of mortgage contracts and disbursement of approved loan.

  • Communicate credit decision to customer.

  • Follow-up repayment/utilization of the loan and ensure end use of the loan.

  • Identify early warning signals on the customers’ business and advises customers to improve their performances and take appropriate measures.

  • Verify the physical conditions of customers’ business and assets.

  • Produce periodic performance reports of the customer (both business and loan account).

  • Remind customers, recommend appropriate and timely actions (workout) in case of irregularities of loan repayment.

  • If repayment of restructured loan is not in line with the agreements/contracts, prepare reports on the history of the loan and the business and transfer the case to the loan recovery team.

  • Receive regularized loans from the loan recovery team and conduct regular follow-up.

  • Work collaboratively with performers of other teams.

  • Perform other credit related activities as deemed necessary

  • Perform other related duties given by the supervisor.

Job Requirement

Education: MA/BA Degree in Accounting, Management, Marketing, Banking and Finance, Economics or other business related fields.
Experience: Minimum of 6/8 years banking experience, of which 4 years in the area of credit.
