Habesha Breweries S.C. is looking for a Distribution Coordinator. 

Result Area:

Dispatch & control the flow of Habesha Beer products.

• Plan the dispatch of Full Goods based on the sales & stock report received from the operation manager, availability of truck, transit time, production plan & requested production mix & driver travel record, notify assigned trucks to all stakeholders for timely loading & offloading

•  Control the flow of material between the factory and warehouse & vice versa for safe and on-time delivery

• Ensure proper utilization of truck by continuously evaluating TAT (truck turnaround time) and managing quantity per shipment

• Manage truck availability by coordinating with the fleet maintenance office and transporters for scheduled maintenance and repair

• Closely work with  warehouse staff to expedite the flow of material and others

• Truck drivers and transporters administration

• Manage truck driver fuel request, per dime and receipt verification and settlement request and process transportation payment

• Handle annual leave request

Performance Evaluation

• Set transporter's and driver's KPI

• Evaluate the transporter's and drivers’ performance

• provide feedback on a regular basis

• Take corrective measures to improve the transport service

Record keeping and reporting

• Update changes on the driver’s name and plate number on SAP.

• Maintain an adequate record of each delivery, effective usage of the company’s fleet management system, and proper utilization of SAP to provide information that can serve as a basis for sound management decision

• Ensure all transfer ins/outs are captured by WH staff on SAP on a daily basis

• Report accidents and savings, truck on transit, transfer in/out manual record vs. system reconciliation, and others.

• Carryout different transportation analyses to ensure the company’s profitability in terms of transportation

Job Requirements

This role is positioned at the mid-level and requires someone who has experience in the procurement and supply chain profession. This person will have the opportunity to develop their career further within a very progressive, dynamic, and exciting work atmosphere.

BA Degree in the business field and equivalent work experience, ideally 3 plus years of relevant experience in distribution and warehouse.
