Job Description
As an HR officer, you are the first point of contact between employees and the company and deal with internal and external partners.
Your Main Responsibilities are:
Collect payroll inputs, organize and calculate the monthly payroll and pass to Finance Department.
Work with the HR Manager to guide and advise employees, through all aspects of the employee life cycle to include absence management, discipline, grievance, capability, in accordance with the consistent application of company policies and procedures and compliance with employment law and best practice.
Preparing job descriptions, advertising vacant positions, and managing the employment process.
Orientating and onboarding new employees
Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors, and ensure legal compliance
Organize and maintain personnel records in line with the confidentiality & privacy policy of the company.
Update internal databases (e.g. record annual leave, sick or maternity leave)
Answer employees queries about HR-related issues
Manage HR related correspondences.
Qualifications:
University Degree in General Management, HR Management, Business Administration and related fields.
At least 2 years of work experience in an HR function
This position requires an excellent communicator with a good verbal and written skills, who is timely, discreet, professional.
Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of the Ethiopian labour law is required
Language proficiency in Amharic & English language is required.
