Job Description

Direct, manage, and execute all operational activities of the affiliated company through delegated authority, and provide transformational leadership to implement the vision, mission, and objectives of the strategic plan of the organisation; develop the measured goal and evaluate the performance of the department by approving organisational objectives; act as a liaison to the public and government; and work together with different stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, communicate, and execute the organization’s vision, mission, and objectives through the concerned body.

  • Manage, control, and evaluate all directors, managers, and supervisors of affiliated companies.

  • Develop a strategic plan outlining the direction and policies that seek to ensure the company’s profitable growth and success.

  • Ensure the operations of the company are completed in accordance with the strategic plan and the current year’s operating and capital expenditure budgets.

  • Establish priorities in terms of company objectives and approved long-term strategies, guiding principles, and corporate milestones.

  • Establish the strategic framework for the allocation of the company’s financial and human resources to meet organizational objectives.

  • Delegate department managers and unit managers to all business units and set the authority and responsibility of each position.

  • Promote a productive culture with good work ethics for the best business environment throughout the company, and establish standards and oversight structures that are reasonably designed to promote integrity and deter wrongdoing.

  • Sign contracts on behalf of Royal Business Group and represent it in all national and/or international dealings and legal obligations.

  • Assure that all legal and regulatory documents are filed, and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.

  • Make high-quality investment decisions to advance the business and increase profits.

  • Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company’s legality and business ethics.

  • Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements.

  • Initiate and recommend new business development ideas and business projects.

  • Approve the work plan and performance reports periodically.

  • Ensure that company assets are properly managed and safeguarded, and approve their disposal as and when required.

  • Ensure periodic and regular comprehensive and high-quality financial utilization and reports are produced and submitted to the shareholders of the company.

  • Ensure that financial statements are audited annually and submitted to the tax authority and other concerned government offices.

  • Oversee the complete operation of an organization in accordance with the direction established in the strategic plans.

  • Establish and maintains networks and good relationships with government institutions and private, national, and international partners.

  • Represent the company in dealing with business partners, government, and civic professional association events at the local, national, and international levels.

  • Participate in industry-related events or associations that will enhance the managing director's leadership skills, the company's reputation, and the company's potential for success.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements

 Qualification

  •   PhD or MA in Management, Economics, Business Administration or relevant disciplines from recognized university.

Work Experience

  • 8+ Years for PhD or 12 + Years for MA experience of which 6+ senior similar management positions.

Skills and behaviors

  • Basic finance knowledge and skills for sound understanding and interpretation of the profit and loss statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement, ratio analysis, and budgeting skills.

  • Ability to build consensus and relationships among company management, partners, and the workforce.

  • Proven negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workloads effectively, and delegate.

  • Adequate business knowledge, managerial ability, sound judgment, and the ability to interact and work effectively with others.

  • Computer skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, English language proficiency.
