But every idea might not see the daylight of success without hard work and diligence. 15 years ago, Horra Trading was just an idea in the mind of Mr. Adem Kedir who meticulously worked day and night to turn it into a reality in 2005, basing himself on his extensive skill and knowledge in coffee and coffee trade.
Mr. Adem Kedir’s coffee trade career started as the succeeding generation from his grandfather Mr. Abbahawa and his father Mr. Kedir Hadjji Hassan in Ethiopia. As the third-generation successor of the family coffee business, Mr. Adem has made the leap from his involvement in traditional and domestic coffee market to international coffee trade by forming his own business entity by the name of Horra Trading in 2005.
What was started as a simple trading business entity in 2005, Horra Trading has made it possible to create diversified businesses under Horra Corporate Group. Currently, Horra Corporate Group business portfolio includes coffee and oil seeds export, coffee plantation, automotive assembly, import and distribution, manufacturing, real estate development and transit and forwarding.
Currently, Horra Corporate Group is led by the CEO, Mr. Adm Kedir, and by qualified and experienced professionals, with 450 permanent staff members and 800 temporary workers working in the corporate office and in different business units.

Qualification Purpose of the Job:
To enhance customer service excellence of the Company by providing quality services for property and asset management customers. Which includes responding to customer service inquiries, finding appropriate solutions, and updating customer accounts or services. Customer Service Officers resolve complaints, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer phone, email, and face-to-face customer inquiries;
Serve as a primary contact for property and asset management customers;
Promote the company’s products and services;
Identify needs/wants of customers;
Greet customers in the warmest possible way and find out their problem or reason for calling;
Serve as a direct contact point for all customers to receive any of their demands related to property issues and transfer to the appropriate unit for maintenance or other services;
Receive customer complaints or inquiries, resolve issue within one’s scope of authority or answer queries, and refer unresolved customer grievances to Manager, Property and Asset Management;
Confer with customers in person to provide information about real estate business unit services;
Contact customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of maintenance plan and result;
Regularly compile reports and submit to the management on overall customer satisfaction
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Management or related fields with
Two (2) year of demonstrated experience.
Skills required
Ability to organize your time and plan your day;
Ability to solve problems relating to key responsibilities from a range of alternative courses of action;
Ability to meet competing deadlines;
Ability to exercise discretion in the application of established standards and procedures;
Proven customer support experience or experience as a Client Service Representative;
Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening;
Excellent communication and presentation skills;
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
