Job Description

  • Design, implement, and manage dynamic and comprehensive digital marketing strategies for our clients, including but not limited to SEO, SEM, email marketing, and web analytics.

  • Create and curate high-quality, culturally appropriate, and engaging content to ensure optimal engagement with target audiences.

  •  Monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics to inform strategy adjustments.

  • Implement and manage community engagement strategies that enhance our client's brand image and customer loyalty.

  • Organize and coordinate project calendars, ensuring timely delivery of content and campaign materials.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, advancements in digital marketing tools, and societal shifts that may impact digital marketing strategies.

  • Devise and implement a social media strategy via competitive analysis, platform selection, benchmarking, messaging, and audience recognition. 

  • Create, edit, publish, and distribute daily content (original text, images, video, or HTML) that fosters genuine relationships and prompts community members to act.

  • Establish and enhance company pages on each platform to raise the profile of the company's social content. 

  • Oversee all user-generated content in compliance with each community's moderation policy. 

  • Design editorial calendars and syndication schedules. 

  • Constantly improve by capturing and analyzing relevant social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, then use this information to inform future actions.

  • Work with other departments (like customer relations and sales) to handle reputation, identify important stakeholders, and coordinate efforts.

Job Requirements

  •  Fluent in both English and Amharic, with strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

  •  At least 1 year of experience leading digital marketing campaigns.

  • Proven track record in community engagement, with a deep understanding of Ethiopian societal norms.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  •  Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.

  •  Extensive knowledge of digital marketing platforms and management tools, such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.

  • Ability to create a compelling presentation of past work using PowerPoint.

  • Previous experience in digital marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist. 

  • Superb consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills.

  • Proven experience with social networking and knowledge of social analytics tools.

  • Knowledge of online marketing and a solid grasp of key marketing channels.

  • Positive attitude, customer-centric approach, with strong multitasking and organizational skills.

  • A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media, or Public Relations is required.
