Job Description
The HR Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling all people related activities which includes hiring, managing staff benefits and leave management. He/she will oversee all activities under human resources department.
Plan and conduct recruitment and selection processes (interviews, screening and Reference checking)
Source and find qualified candidates for open positions
Oversee the recruiting process and employee onboarding/orientation programs
Determine current staffing needs and review and recommend employee pay and benefits.
Oversees the payroll process, pension and employee insurance management.
Develop compensation and reward strategies that attract and retain talent.
Identify, develop and implement improvements in HR SOPs and Policies
Ensure all employees have job descriptions & KPI.
Oversee the performance evaluation process and ensure evaluation is done on time.
Identify internal & external training requirements that develop work force
Recommend new ways of working to improve performance and reduce cost.
Monitor Legislation and legal provisions that may affect HR operations processes
Perform other duties as assigned by Management
COMPETENCIES: -
Strong personnel and team management skills.
Good knowledge of Ethiopian Labor law.
Ability to work under pressure and meet competing deadlines.
Excellent oral and written communication skill.
Ability to build and maintain positive relationship with colleagues.
Experiences in conflict resolutions, disciplinary processes and workplace investigations.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
BA degree in Management, Business Administration or Human Resource Management
Proven skill in administration and human resources management.
Experience:
5 years of experience in human resources out of which 2 years in a managerial role.
