Job Description
UNOPS Ethiopia Multi-Country Office (ETMCO) exciting Internship opportunity.
Established in 2009, UNOPS Ethiopia Office has been providing services to various partners, including the government of Ethiopia, UN agencies such as WHO, UNHCR and WFP, and other international organizations.
The internship is learning and working opportunity that targets fresh graduates. The ICT Intern will assist the ICT Officer to efficiently and effectively manage ICT and support to the Ethiopia Multi-Country Office (ETMCO). The intern will be exposed to practical learning and working experiences that foster development of his /her path. The Intern will work full time and follow the same working hours as UNOPS employees.
UNOPS-ETMCO is recruiting for this position: ICT Intern, based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Position: ICT Intern
Education
Bachelor’s Degree is required. Area of degree should be preferably in Information Sciences, Information Technology or Computer Sciences or related fields.
MCSE, ITIL, CCNA or Equivalent certifications is added advantage.
Work Experience
Applicants are not required to have professional work experience.
Applicants should have graduated from the above stated fields within three (3) years prior to the applications date of the internship.
Knowledge of Computer Networking and HTML5 is an asset.
Language Requirements
Fluency in written, reading and oral English is required.
Knowledge of another UN Official Language is an asset.
