Job Requirements

Education Level:

• B.Sc./B.A. in Industrial/Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture or equivalent experience and proven track record.

Qualifications:

Applicants should have a/be:

• An all-round passion for creating.

• Strong grasp of universal design fundamentals.

• Strong grasp of CAD fundamentals. Knowledge of Sketchup, and Skechup LayOut is a must. Familiarity with other CAD platforms is a plus: Rhino, Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Fusion 360, AutoCAD, Blender.

• General technical aptitude.

• Ability to hand sketch physically and digitally via Photoshop and Sketchbook. Familiarity with industrial design style hand rendering a plus.

• General knowledge of fundamental design applications such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.

• Ability to work independently is key.

• Ability to follow both general and detailed directions.

• Genuine attention to detail.

• Excellent grasp of basic office skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, and a decent typing speed.

• Decent to fluent command of English.

Experience:

• 2 years or more of product design experience.

• Assembly and disassembly of increasingly complicated components: theoretical and practical.
