Job Description
The Computer Management Assistant is responsible for providing Information Technology Management and Records management support to the USAID Ethiopia Mission. Under the direct supervision of the Supervisory Information Management Specialist (Systems Manager), serves as the General IT System and Records Management Technician for USAID Ethiopia. Maintains inventory, configures, and issues all mobile devices to include iPads, iPhones, IronKeys, MiFi, laptops, and any other mobile devices.
Job Requirement
Qualifications required: A minimum of three years of information technology, records management, or customer-service related experience. Demonstrated sound knowledge of the communications and records management, and experience with developing and implementing computerized, paper-less document storage and retrieval system. Demonstrated knowledge of computer systems management sufficient to assure the continued effective operation of a computer installation designed to provide automation support to the USAID mission. Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office products. Demonstrate the skills in HTML, java, and/or Drupal programming. Minimum of College/university studies in Information Technology, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related fields.
Salary Range: The salary range of the position is FSN-08: $12,764 – $22,964 yearly, articulated in U.S. dollars but paid in Birr.
