Job Profile:

Clearing Officer is responsible for facilitating Insurance coverage, custom clearance, delivering cleared goods to warehouses, and ensuring timely documentation and declaration of all relevant custom entries and legal requirements.

• Facilitates clearance formalities by providing support to the clearing agent on all customs processes of the company at railway customs. 

•  Ensure that shipments are properly planned for on time and prepare necessary client requests.

•  Ensure all regulatory requirements to engage in the clearing and forwarding business are up to date and are in compliance with the regulatory guidelines

•  Follow up on customs issues including duty payment, exemption approvals and any related customs requirement

•  Overseeing the entire clearing and forwarding process to ensure the company receives goods in a timely manner and communicate any obstacles in the clearing process.

Job Requirements

Required Qualification and Experience:

• First degree in Management, Material Management, logistics & Supply Management, Banking and insurance, Accounting .

• 1-year related work experience.
