Cadila Pharmaceuticals (Ethiopia) P.L.C, a Joint Venture Company between Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited, India and AlmetaImpex P.L.C, Ethiopia, put up a Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing facility for Tablets, Capsules & Liquids at Akaki, near Addis Ababa.  The aforementioned Plant is one of its kind in Ethiopia and the first Pharmaceutical Formulation Manufacturing Plant of the country to receive Certificate of PICS - Conformity in 2011 as per EU guidelines, to comply with the WHO-led regulatory requirements of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) & also received cGMP certificate Ethiopian Food & Drug Authority.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• To be responsible for Maintaining and repairing of sanitary Works ( Hand wash, Toilet, Drainage)   damaged parts of  all manufacturing facilities.

• To contributed towards improvement in systems and practices to ensure adequate care for various machines and equipment.

• To contribute to purchase and maintaining necessary spares to be used for machine shop and plumbing work.

• To ensure GMP compliance. 

• Weekly prepares and submits performance reports to superior regarding work progress, practical problems and suggested solutions including plan for the next week.

• Requests necessary materials to be used for maintenance work, machine shop and plumbing items.

• To be responsible for optimum utilization and handling of  machineries spare parts and pipe fittings.

• To be responsible for optimum utilization and handling of workshop machineries spare parts and plumbing spares.

• To makes sure that all safety regulations are followed.

• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

 Type of Employment: Permanent

  Salary and Other Benefit Packages: Attractive and can be determined with negotiation based on the candidate’s previous earning, qualification and competency. 

Job Requirements

Qualification and Experience:  

• Level III General Mechanic 8 years experience

•   Level IV General Mechanic 6 years experience

• Level V General Mechanic 4 years experience
