Job Summary

A Property Head is a professional who is charged with ensuring that Horra’s properties are used and maintained effectively and kept safely by exerting its potential skills in leadership in planning, managing, implementing, and maintaining systems and procedures in line with the organization's rules and regulations.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership in planning, managing, implementing, and maintaining systems and procedures to ensure that Horra’s property is used and maintained effectively and kept safely.

  • ensure that there are proper security, maintenance, and services of work facilities to meet the needs of the organization and its employees

  • Coordinate ongoing property maintenance to comply with all relevant laws, codes, and company policies

  • Ensuring property management documentation from a variety of sources is properly issued

  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures for warehouse and assets.

  • Provide consistent and constructive support to other departments to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

  • Coordinate and report on activities and required resources to ensure cost-efficient and quality service delivery from administrative support functions.

  • Help identify safety issues and ensure a safe and sound work environment.

  • Ensures the maintenance of current and accurate inventory records based on legitimate Asset and property Administration documents (receiving, issuing, transferring, and related documents);

  • Makes sure that all stock items received and issued are made based on legitimate company documents;

  • Follows up and reporting of undelivered, damaged, overage, and shortage items;

  • Organizes and coordinates the physical inventory count of stocked items; makes sure that inventory balances are reconciled with records;

Job Requirements

  • Education Qualification: BA/MA degree in logistics and supply chain management, Business Management or related fields.

  • A minimum of 6/4 years of demonstrated experience with at least 2 (two) years in supervisory role.

  • Fluency in Amharic and English, written and verbal is highly required.
