1. Assure and guide WVE ED-S4Tintervention to the highest quality and reporting standards;
2. Coordinates and facilitates an in-country network of Project Administrators responsible for monitoring the implementation of the SG PM in WVE in order to:
Discover, identify and or innovate best practice approaches and solutions through peer mentoring and the sharing of experiences and information
Strengthen the capacity of WVE staff through the encouraged participation of WVE staff in the ED Savings Group Interest Group.
Assure the acceptance and participation of all WV Ethiopia projects in the WV Global Network of SGs.
Assure compliance by WV Ethiopia for sustained reporting to the SAVIX in compliance with the WV SAVIX Guidelines.
3. Facilitate technical support to Savings Groups Project Model projects to ensure effective implementation and facilitate innovation and development toward the institutionalization of the Savings Group Project Model in WVE (through the VA Model, cross-sector integration or private/public sector partnerships).
This specifically includes:
Providing training to SGs promoters, village agents on SG PM monitoring and evaluation of SGs plus the online assessment tools
4.Identify and inform middle and higher level managers to the gaps identified on our daily implementation of SGs in the country Taking a lead in organizing performance review meetings once in every quarter to ensure all APs are in line with the WVE SG PM
Undergo a study and present to the department manager so as to how the best practice of other savings groups PM can complement and benefit our communities.
Work closely with the cluster program office (CPO) and APs specialists and officers for any need that arises.
Provide on job training, conduct monitoring visits regularly to the APS
Avail support via phones, skypes and in person
5. Facilitate access to mentoring and support for WVE staffs embarking on Savings Groups Project Model.
6. Ensure opportunities for reflection, learning and the sharing of knowledge at all levels of World Vision's Ethiopia development programming
7. Encourage, initiate and/or align the sharing of information in the form of updates to existing SG documents and tools or the development of new guidelines.
8. Actively participate in strategic networks with local, national and international stakeholders both within and outside World Vision, including Vision Fund International.
9. Facilitate technical support to preparing proposals with the intention of raising funds to finance Savings Group Project Model projects with Grant Acquisition Management teams as need arises
10. Encourage and coach CPOs, Area Programs and project administrators for the optimal implementation of the Management Information System (MIS) and related internal WV Ethiopia management information processes to regularly and systematically:
Schedule FO visits and monitoring
collect (in alignment with SG PM methodology and standards)
enter, report, archive Project Model data
Monitor and develop criteria to assess whether a project complies with the Savings Group Project Model Standards
11. Monthly, semi-annually and Annually, submit a written report to an immediate supervisor detailing the Savings Group PM achievements
Required Professional Experience
: >8 years of total experience on business and economic and rural development
Must have a clear understanding of major donors’ perspectives, requirements and standards
Must have proven analytical/ problem solving abilities

Experiences in excel management
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
Second Degree in Developmental Economics and related and or
Knowledge of Saving Group/VSLA/VESA, SG MIS/SAVIX, BSL,local Value chain, business facilitation models is a requirement
Professional technical skill associated with assessment experience is desired
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills – builds good relationships with internal and external stakeholders and maintain effective collaboration with all staff
Excellent skill in producing quality report
Appropriate skills and experience in the capacity building and training of staff and partners;
Rich experience in handling productive meeting
Rich experience communication
Excellent experience in proposal development, budget preparation and report writing;
Good knowledge of oral and written English language.
Computer literate
Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement Head Office-based with frequent and regular travel to Hubs and APs
Physical Requirements Travel by road, flexibility with accommodation and dietary arrangements. Ability to partake in on-location production or live events.
Language Requirements
Fluency: English working knowledge, speaking and writing is required
