Job Description

Our client is the newest Ethiopian sport-based company to hit the market. With
its user-friendly interface, it offers an exciting new way for Ethiopians to get in on the action. Whether it's football, e-sports, virtual sports or more, it has something for every sports fan. 

We are searching for an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst with at least 3 years of relevant job experience and a track record of producing meaningful insights from huge datasets. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to build quantitative data-driven strategies and knowledge of data analysis tools, are required.

Responsibilities

  • Review client data for patterns, trends, and actionable insights that improve the
    customer experience and drive client KPIs, metrics, and business outcomes

  •  Aggregate data, synthesize results, and prepare findings and recommendations
    for clients

  •  Create custom dashboards that provide insight into valuable performance
    metrics

  • Process data requests from various internal business units with the ability to
    determine which analytics best enumerate the issue to be solved

  •  Collaborating with UX and delivery teams on projects and implementations to
    run reports and provide analysis

  •  Mining data and creating reports from various business units and stages of the
    client experience including presales, projects, opportunities and analysis

  •  Assist across the entire client experience including presales, projects,
    opportunities and analysis

  •  Implement customized web analytics and website optimization tools based on
    business needs, specifically: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and
    tracking codes from online media vendors, such as Google Ads, Facebook,
    and others

  •  Pixel implementation and incorporate pixel audit suggestions for user
    acquisition efforts

  •  Work with developer to develop and implement tracking needs to support UX
    efforts

  •  Create and manage client tagging strategies for event tracking and marketing
    pixels

  •  Manage data layer implementation for enhanced ecommerce and web
    measurement tracking for Google Analytics and third-party reporting

  •  Work with developers to communicate what a data layer implementation should
    accomplish

  •  Create and maintain documentation related to data layer implementation
    requirements, client tagging plans, and Google tag management cartridge

  •  Perform data quality audits, identify data collection issues and
    suggest/implement fixes

  •  Work with third parties to resolve discrepancies or platform issues related to
    marketing pixels

  •  Manage tags via tag management platforms like Google Tag Manager

  •  Collaborate with clients and agency partners to ensure they are following
    analytics best practices

  •  Maintain working knowledge of industry best practices and changes in Google
    Analytics platform and identify how they impact existing clients

Requirements

  • Bilingual in Amharic & English

  •  Skilled at setting up and implementing full social accounts and tracking from a
    fresh starting point

  •  Analytics experience with Ecommerce sites, data integrations, and data layers

  •  Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, or equivalent experience

  •  Full understanding of Google’s (GA and GTM) latest and past updates and their
    impact on Ecommerce and data tracking

  •  Ability to conduct research, analysis, and benchmarks on clients’ competitors
    and industries

  •  Experience creating customer dashboards and reports that align to metrics that
    are leveraged to efficiently run their business operations

  •  Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Data Studio,
    Tableau, etc.

  •  Familiarity with testing & optimization platforms such Google Optimize, Hotjar,
    Optimizely, etc, and visualization tools like Tableau preferred

  •  The ability to take on multiple assignments and requests simultaneously,
    prioritize and make deadlines

  •  Strong attention to detail and organizational and multi-tasking skills

  •  Keen interest in data, analytics, and optimizing the customer experience

  •  Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with technical resources
    and client stakeholders with varying levels of analytics comprehension

  •  Strong knowledge in gathering, reviewing, and mining qualitative and
    quantitative data
