Habesha Breweries S.C. is looking for an Application Manager.

The Role Summary:

The Applications Manager is responsible for checking and verifying sales and distribution data produced by the CRM, designing processes to support increased data quality, and supporting the sales analyst in processing and analyzing the data. Additionally, the applications manager will run various analyses on potential fraudulent behavior, system-traceable cross-border sales, and other investigative studies.

Result Areas and Responsibilities:

Data Integrity

• Checking all parameters of newly recorded customers. 

• Verifying the legitimacy of newly recorded customers.

• Checking sales entries for false / miss-recorded information.

• Review data for inconsistencies or anomalies that could skew analytical results.

• Conduct routine verification as needed to ensure data integrity.

Data Capturing Process

•  Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems, and other strategies that support and optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.

• Train sales staff in proper outlet registration (spelling and data capturing) and provide necessary support materials for agent crew on registration, capturing, and ways of working with CRM.

Data Analyzing & Dashboard Input

• Support in analyzing sales data produced by CMS on a frequent basis (weekly/monthly) 

• Interpreting data and analyzing results using statistical techniques

• Track data integrity parameters on daily/weekly dashboard & action when results are sub-standard.

• Analyze receipt vs. CRM visit data for promotional visit verification.

Tactical Studies

• Run various analyses on potential fraudulent behavior and system-traceable cross-border sales.

• Investigate potential fraud, contraband, and misconduct based on input from different systems & stakeholders.

• Collect (images of) VAT receipts from customers to compare to CRM data for verification through the use of field auditors where necessary. 

Job Requirements

The Person:

This role is positioned at a senior level and requires an experienced PR practitioner who will have the opportunity to develop their career further within a very progressive, dynamic, learning and development environment. The following are the requirements to apply for this position

Education and Experience

• University-level degree in Statistics, Business Analysis, or in related field 

• 3 years and above in a similar role 

• Excellent English and Amharic verbal and written skills

• Team player and easy to work with personality.
