• Kerchanshe Trading P.L.C is the largest producer and exporter of coffee in Ethiopia, It has a proud history of providing quality coffees to the local and international markets. Currently our company needs a dedicated and motivated candidate.

General Job Description:

• He/ she is responsible for communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; and initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures

• Specific Job Description:

•  Evaluating various stations of the production operation to ensure optimum efficiency

• Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees

• Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules

• Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance

• Check production output according to specifications

• Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements

• Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures

• Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards

• Organizing training and educational manuals for the production team

• Assisting in the recruitment and onboarding of new hires

• identifying and troubleshooting production issues

• Ensuring compliance with safety and professional standards within a facility

• Organizing, monitoring, and prioritizing tasks to meet production goals

• Maintaining communication between employees and managers to ensure procedures and policies are well-understood

• Ensuring the flow of raw materials and other resources

• Submit reports on performance and progress

Job Requirements

Qualification

•  Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study (Manufacturing/Operations).

Experience 

• Minimum of 7 years' experience, with at least 3 years as a Senior Production Officer.

• Excellent organization, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills

• Excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic

• Ability to create and adhere to production processes

• Ability to write reports legibly and accurately

• Relevant training and certification in industrial production, engineering, or any related field
