Habesha Breweries S.C. is looking for an Electrical and Automation Technician duty station being in Debre Brihan

The Role Summary:

The job holder will be responsible for ensuring the operational effectiveness and efficiency of all plants and equipment in the plant and monitoring and controlling electrical, electronics and PLC systems to ensure that operation is maintained.

Basic Duty and Responsibility

•  Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair

• Carry out preventive maintenance as per the schedule 

•  Perform effective troubleshooting to identify malfunctions and repair  units

• Diagnose malfunctioning of machineries components

•  Repair or replace damaged electrical equipment

•  Ensure effective working of KWHR meters.

•  Ensure perfect working condition of power factor correction.

•  Highlight areas of high consumption for corrective action.

•  Record daily KWH

•  Participate in Preparation of spare parts

• Drive to create a safe work environment and minimize     electrical related accidents

• Frequently identify & avoid all electrical hazard at the brewery

Job Requirements

This role requires an experienced Senior Electrical and Automation Technician, who will have the opportunity to develop his/her career further within a very progressive Learning and Development environment, in a dynamic and exciting work environment. TVET Diploma/B.Sc. in related fields. Ideally 5 + years for Diploma or 2 years for B.Sc. of relevant experience in the brewing industry.

Experience in the brewing company is a must.
