v  Coordinate import & export including sea fright booking, land transportation and dealing with the relevant documents and authorities;

v  Be responsible for documents related to import and export and any related tasks;

v  Coordinate with internal and external parties in order to ensure the completeness of the document submission process;

v  Coordinate with shipping/cargo functions;

v  Manage to deliver the tasks related to P/O, Invoice, Packing lists and other related tasks

v  Create import/export documentation;

v  Process and ensure accuracy of customs documentation;

v  Assist freight forwarders and customs brokers with import and export issues associated with all shipments;

v  Assist in handling and resolving freight claims;

v  Review thoroughly and print all import documentation to ensure full Import;

v  Compliance, per Ethiopian Customs rules and regulations, inclusive of recordkeeping;

v  Maintain electronic records including daily import activity log;

v  Import and Export Freight Costs Data, Import/Export tracking for Ethiopian Customs and the Company’s Finance Division, where needed;

v  Attend off site trade conferences and webinars for training and fulfillment of essential functions and key responsibilities;

v  Assist in process of Drawback claims as needed;

v  Work outside of normal hours of operation, as needed, in order to fulfill essential functions and responsibilities;

v  Maintain all files and paperwork relating to import/export matters;

v  Track, trace and report shipments to ensure timely delivery to the Company’s warehouse;

v  Review for accuracy and Process freight invoices and broker bills;

v  All other duties as required or needed.

Job Requirements

B.A Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management or related fields.

7 years or above related work experience with 3 years in similar work expriance is mandatory.
