Job Description

  • Plan and implement all activities related to crop protection. 

  • Inspect crops, seedlings, field or plant stock to determine conditions and needs for spraying, weeding or harvesting. 

  • Plans weekly spray program and follow up application as per the plan. 

  • Ensure spray equipment to be in always working state.

  • Work with the farm manager and ensure repairs of spray equipment as needed. 

  • Ensure proper storage and disposal of pesticides. 

  • Work closely with the irrigation expert to ensure purification of irrigation water as per the protocols to achieve the set standards. 

  • Keeps up to date with new trends, technologies and products for crop protections. 

  • promote organic pesticides. 

  • Carryout other duties as instructed by the farm manager

Job Requirements

Qualifications: 

  • bachelor’s degree in botany, biology, horticulture, agronomy etc or Technical school/diploma.

  • Practical experiences are required
