Legal Officers are responsible for monitoring all legal affairs within their organization. They handle both internal and external legal concerns, and are tasked with doing everything in their power to keep their organization out of legal trouble.

Job Requirement

Qualification : Minimum LLB Degree in Law

Relevant Work Experience : Minimum 4-years related work experience (legal officer, Attorney, Legal consultancy, etc.)

Experience in Microfinance or Bank is advantageous

Familiarity with Microfinance industry’s rules and regulations

Technical Skills & Competency

Excellent in:

• Able to communicate and good presentation skill in Afaan Oromo, English and Amharic language

• Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, MS Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Data analysis, report writing and presentation skills

• Willing to travel to branch outlets out of Addis Ababa and able to work under pressure

• Good knowledge of civil & commercial codes, Legal research methods, analytical skills, the court system and

• procedures, legal ethics.

• Ability to interpret, analyse and solve problems.
