The total investment of Shangtex Garment manufacturing Ethiopia PLC exceeds two billion birr, which is one of the largest single investments in Ethiopia.

There are 2 phases of the project which seize 100,000 square meters land in total.

Phase I covers an area of 55,000 square meters, manufacturing area 60,000 square meters, 3 workshop buildings in total with capacity of 10 million pieces per year.

Phase II has 45,000 square meters under planning, focus on Textile and value chain supporting to Phase I.

Job Description

• Assist in installing and implementing ERP system.

• Responsible for routine activities such as maintenance, management, and trouble-shooting of network and electronic office equipment.

• Installing and configuring networking equipment such as routers/switches/firewalls.

• Assist in the management of servers and systems, and ensuring the normal operation of the company’s network on a daily basis.

• Maintain and monitor the company’s LAN and WAN to ensure its normal, safe and stable operation of the LAN and WAN during the working time

• Install and maintain the company’s computer, server system and application software, and provide software and hardware technical support for other departments;

• Solve and eliminate various software and hardware issues, make related records, and make regular system operation reports;

• Maintain the data center, be responsible for the maintenance and inspection of the network equipment in the company’s computer room, regularly conduct maintenance and loophole investigation, and data backup system

• Complete other tasks assigned by the leaders or management.

Job Requirements

•  E -communication, E-engineering, E-automation, computer and other related majors, bachelor degree or above

• 2-4 years working experience in Network system and IT system maintenance is preferred.

• Can independently install, debug and troubleshoot network problems

• Proficient in LAN maintenance and network security knowledge, proficient in building LAN and basic maintenance and trouble-solving of network equipment

• Familiar with WINDOWS, server 2000/2003

• Strong Englsih communication skills
