Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the development and maintenance of client-side and server-side applications.

• Comfortable working in an agile and lean environment to routinely deploy changes.

• Ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for security, speed, and scalability.

• Investigate and recommend use of new technologies/libraries where appropriate.

• Utilizes experience with architecting, developing, and supporting distributed and scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications and services with hands-on coding experience in a modern object-oriented language.

• Follow Test Driven Development or Self-testing code to develop quality software with high levels of coverage

• Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and other agile software development best practices

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science / software engineering or related field of study

• 3 - 6 + years of professional full-stack development experience

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git

• Strong proficiency with JavaScript (ES6/ECMAScript 2015), TypeScript, CSS, HTML and the modern JavaScript libraries for both frontend and backend applications.

• Proficient in at least one database technology like MySQL / MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL, or MongoDB and familiar to DB concepts like ACID properties, caching, partitioning, sharding etc.

• Proficient in at least one framework for backend development (NestJs, Express, Laravel, Spring Boot, etc) for backend development

• Proficient in at least one framework for frontend development (Angular, ReactJS, Vue, etc) for frontend development

• Understanding and knowledge of programming fundamentals - Clean Code concepts, SOLID principles, Object Oriented Design, GoF Design Patterns, unit testing etc

• Good Knowledge of how to use RESTful APIs.

• Practical experience of continuous integration and deployment (i.e. Gitlab Workflows, Jenkins, CI/CD Pipelines)

• Proactive and willing to learn new stuff

• Ability to tackle ambitious problems and work independently as well as part of a team

• Strong sense of ownership and integrity demonstrated through clear communication and collaboration.

• Proven problem-solving skills

• Extensive experience as a Developer in Agile projects

• Strong organizational and project management skills.

• Exposure to Docker, containers, Docker swarm cluster and Kubernetes is a plus
