Job Description
Undertake various administration and Maintenance functions associated with the Fleet management role.
Avail Road worth vehicles with alignment of Safety Management
Responsible for the implementation of processes, procedure, and organization within the group.
Assure the accomplishment of the vehicle technical works in the desired technical and quality standards.
To work closely with the Fleet team in different site to ensure accuracy of defects/reports and the rescheduling of non-serious defect rectification.
Manages compliance/adherence to corporate fleet policies,
Suggest alternative way & means of rectifying complex automotive problem when arises.
Manages the safety work standards within the Fleet team across all sites.
Looks for ways to reduce costs and increase profits, in addition to finding means for getting better fuel efficiency and manage department expenditure to budget
Manage the Performance of the team through KPI's.
Ensure adherence to all legal requirements of the relevant road authority, traffic police or other governmental departments and Management of Fleet Audits
Manages and initiate new ideas on Fleet management system within the group
Control and manages fuel management for all sites and analyze report for better efficiency
Manages vehicle lease request, payments, and contractual agreement
Purchasing, maintaining, and deposing vehicles for deliveries.
Assisting in the recruitment of talented fleet management teams for all sites.
Developing efficient driver schedules to maximize profits.
Finding ways to cut costs and maximize profits.
Ensuring strict servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain schedules.
Utilizing GPS systems to monitor drivers and users to track vehicles driver management behavior, fuel management, theft, and accident.
Required qualification
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or logistics
5+ years in a Fleet management.
Great written and verbal communication skills
Excellent leadership skills, including goal setting, motivation, and training
Expert knowledge of best driving, delivery, vehicle maintenance and other industry practices
Basic math and data analysis skills
Familiarity with transportation scheduling and management software
Understanding of basic vehicle mechanics, including the ability to identify when major repairs are needed
Ability to set and monitor a budget
Good problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
Exceptional organization, time management and multitasking abilities
Keen attention to detail
