• Participate in the development and Implementation of   Information Technology infrastructure management Strategy, Governance framework, network infrastructure program, Information Systems Policy and procedure;

• Participate in the development and implementation of standard and guidelines of Business Continuity Management;

• Monitor database for proper performance;

• Manage database performance by undertaking performance tuning of the database as per the SLA;

• Manage backup and recovery procedures;

• Establish procedures and guidelines to ensure data security and integrity

• Follow up the implementation of Datacenter security program;

• Monitor the overall IT Assets management of the bank;

• Evaluate software interfaces related to the DBMS; assist in the analysis, design, and integration of database systems with other systems;

• Ensure that performance is not degraded by some expensive tasks in terms of resource usage (memory, Hard disk space, network bandwidth etc.) submitted by users

• Oversee capacity planning, perform power audits and ensure appropriate supply of power to all equipment;

• Administer and maintain servers: Web Server, Application Server, Database Server, File Server, Mail Server, etc.

• Monitor and verify the integrity, availability and utilization of all hardware, server resources, system and key process,

• Review system and application logs, and verify completion of scheduled jobs such as backups;

• Manage and monitor system service and continuously make sure that service run smoothly;

• Design and implement the Data center aspect of the overall information security program;

• Review Data center equipment utilization reports to ensure accuracy and completeness;

• Conduct assessment of current trends and developments in server computing and propose possible innovative improvements and upgrades for implementation;

• Continuously monitor to ensure that data on Information Technology Systems and Database is secured, properly managed and backups of Information Technology Systems and database are taken regularly as per set policy;

• Develop and implement procedures for backup and restoration of the servers both at Data Centre and DR Site;

• Responsible for the overall Information Technology Assets management of the bank and continuously monitors the system records of the same to ensure accuracy and completeness;

• Provides technical advice on acquisition and installation of Database, Operating systems, desktop (with its peripherals) and server computing, ATM and POS and data center facilities;

• Reviews quality of system outputs and scrutinizes causes of re-runs, rejects and delays;

• Execute the Database, Operating systems, desktop (with its peripherals) and server computing, monitor the functions of  Card Management Systems,  ATM and POS;

• Install, configure, and maintain data center facilities installation and administration: Air Conditioner, UPS, Fire Extinguisher, Security surveillance system, etc.;

• Handle other related duties as deemed necessary.

Job Requirements

Qualification: Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,  Information System, Information Science, Software Engineering,  Electrical Engineering, and related fields and related fields;

Experience: Seven/Nine years of relevant banking experience, of which two years as a senior position.
