Job Description
Our Company SBG industry PLC seeks to hire competent, experienced and aspiring applicants to fill the following vacant position.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Designs, develops and implements human resources management systems, policies and procedures to support the business needs of the company.
Develops department strategic, medium and short term plans and budgets and submit for approval to the General Manager
Ensures the approved plans are communicated, understood and implemented within the company;
Develop various policies that are appropriate to the purpose of the company (department) and ensures they are communicated ,understood, implemented and maintained within the organization;
Ensures relevant management and operational systems are developed and implemented and reviews their suitability, adequacy, and effectiveness
Ensures the needs of customers (both internal and external) are determined , their complaints and grievances are handled in order to enhance customer satisfaction and retain customers
ensuring the promotion of customer focus throughout the or his department;
ensuring that the quality management system conforms to the requirements of this International Standard;
Prepares and implements the annual HR plan to support the overall strategic aims and objectives of the company.
Plan, implement and manage recruitment and selection of the company.
Plans, develops and implements strategy for employee performance monitoring and assessment, establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of staff performance.
Ensures that job descriptions, performance standards, and all related HR functions are managed effectively and efficiently;
Conducts salary and benefits survey to ensure internal equity and competitiveness of the company’s salary in the local labor market and sector;
Develops, reviews and updates as and when necessary administrative manuals and procedures of the Factory and implements same upon approval.
Ensures such general service activities are carried out properly and adequately.
Evaluates periodically the performances of employees within the department and monitors the overall employee’s performance management.
Maintains awareness creation and knowledge of the organization`s performance management system, methods, and provide suitable interpretation to chief officers, managers, and staff within the organization.
Evaluates the performance of employees under his/her direct supervision.
Perform other duties as required

Required educational background & work experience
BA Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, Public Administration or equivalent, At least (5) Five years Working experiences in manufacturing.
Competencies /Knowledge, Ability and Skill
Considerable knowledge of the principles and practices of human resource development and administration
Considerable knowledge of organization dynamics
Considerable knowledge of company guidelines, and the Ethiopian Law
Considerable knowledge of training need assessment and HRD practices
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities on short time frame
Ability to create, to foster and grow good working relationship with company employees
Strong organization and time management skill
Strong issue resolution and facilitation skill
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and spoken English
Computer literate in Microsoft word, excel and other applications relevant to the job
