We invite qualified applicants for the position of Senior IP Engineer at one of our clients Huawei Technologies Ethiopia PLC to develop and maintain functional and secure an Enterprise networks.

The Senior IP Engineer is Responsible for

• Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)

• Configure and install software, routers, switches and other network devices

• Monitor network performance and integrity

• Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting local infrastructure

• Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness

• Create, oversee and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery)

• In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols    

• (e.g. BGP, OSPF, MPLS)

• Sharp troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work independently

• Organizational and mentoring skills

Job Requirements

Education and Major requirements

• BSc Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience.

Project and Other Experiences

• Common enterprise network project delivery and O&M experience

• Industry-related experience as a Senior Network Engineer or Network Administrator

Skills or Certificate Requirements

• Professional certification (e.g. HCIA, HCIP on R&S or Datacom) Or Similar CISCO certifications parallel to HCIA, HCIP, HCIE
