On behalf of our clients, Freighters International PLC, we are looking for two competent candidates for the Customs Transitor open positions which will be located at Dire Dawa and Adama.

Job Summary
Under the overall guidance of the Manager, the. Customs Transitor processes all logistics issues and procedures especially preparing customs declarations for import and export shipments and facilitating customs clearance process to and from Ethiopia to meet the objectives of the company from end to end. The incumbent plays the required coordination role among team members to give solutions for all process requirements, promote efficient business processes, and build knowledge, team spirit, and knowledge sharing.

Job Location- Adama and Diredawa

Key Competencies & Requirements

• BA degree in Logistics/Supply Management or a business-related field, with proven practical experience of 3-5 years.
• Certificate training from ERCA - as a Transistor.
• Practical experience on Import and export custom clearing, shipping and forwarding.
• Clean record from ERCA.
• Excellent understanding of the logistic operation, and governing rules of the country;
• Good knowledge of international trade and logistic practice
• Excellent understanding of workflow processes
• Ability to consistently approach work with energy and a positive and constructive attitude;
• Self-starter and ability to manage work (perform) without supervision;
• Ability to remain calm and in control under pressure;
• Ability to meet short deadlines;
• Sound contributions to knowledge-sharing networks and communication of best practices;
• Strong personal commitment to learning the particular skills that her/his job requires
• Keen interest to work in the logistics business;
• Basic computer skills, email, and other social platform usage
