We are looking for a skilled Machine Operator to set up, maintain and operate machinery. You’ll ensure the interminable and efficient running of coffee production. The Machine Operator will also be responsible for inspecting parts to specifications and making adjustments, or tool changes as necessary to maintain quality specifications. Candidates for this position should be detail-oriented and willing to learn and should be able to follow instructions, work with others, and help ensure that all safety regulations are followed. 

Responsibilities

·         Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle

·         Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)

·         Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools

·         Test operation of machines periodically

·         Fix issues that might occur during the shift

·         Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws

·         Keep records of approved and defective units or final products

·         Maintain activity logs

Job Requirements

Requirements and skills

·         Proven experience as a machine operator

·         Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools

·         Understanding of coffee production procedures

·         Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals

·         Teamwork and communication skills

Ø  Education

Level III/IV/BSc degree in  general mechanic, electromechanical/electrical/mechanical engineering.

Ø  Experience

At least 3/4/5 years of experience respectively at leading or supervising operating, engineering/maintenance team, sound understanding of machine operation principles, ability to maintain a positive attitude and restore morale to a team, ability to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time.
