Summary:
The work schedule for this position is: Full Time (48 hours per week)
Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (Four weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

Duties
Schedule and dispatch all ICASS and participating USG-agency vehicles and drivers in accordance with post policies and requirements, including regular service for U.S. direct hires, TDYers, newcomers, VIPs, and others as directed. Works with the Visitor Support Unit to coordinate ground movements for VIP visitors and delegations. Each dispatcher acts as the direct supervisor overseeing the actions of and reviewing a team of 10-15 drivers. Creates, assigns, and closes trip tickets. Coordinates the mileage readings for DriveCam Awards and for ICASS Workload counts for annual reports.
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of three years of increasingly responsible experience in a motor pool or transportation fleet management is required.

EDUCATION: Graduation from secondary school is required.

Evaluations:
LANGUAGE: Level 3 (Good working knowledge) in writing/speaking English and Level 3 (Good working knowledge) in writing/speaking Amharic is required. (These may be tested)
Skills and Abilities:
Must be able to supervise subordinates without conflict; must be able to organize and enforce schedules for people, vehicles, and maintenance; must be able to think and act quickly and develop alternative logistics when required; must be skilled in organizing people and large logistical movements. Must exhibit a high degree of tact and diplomacy in dealing with clients and a high degree of leadership to supervise large number of subordinates. The incumbent must have a valid class 3 Ethiopian Driver’s license. Must have had a valid driver's license for a minimum of five (5) years. (These may be tested)

The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
