Objectives of this role

•  Collaborate with CEO in setting and driving organizational vision, operational strategy, and hiring levels

• Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth, implementing organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operations planning

• Oversee company operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture that ensures team members can thrive and organizational outcomes are met

• Ensure effective recruiting, on-boarding, professional development, performance management, and retention

•  Adhere to company, federal, state, and local business requirements, enforcing compliance and taking action when necessary

Operations Manager Responsibilities

• Provide inspired leadership for the organization.

• Make important policy, planning, and strategy decisions.

• Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures.

•  Assist HR with recruiting when necessary.

• Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.

• Develop and follow-up budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.

• Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with FDRE laws and regulations.

• Work with CEO and CTO to determine values and mission, and plan for short and long-term goals.

• Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.

• Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in management or related field.

Experience :

•  Four years’ experience in management, operations, and leadership. Two years in management position

Mandatory criteria 

• Understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash-flow management.

•  Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees.

•  Understand Ethiopia Import Laws and procedures.

•  Excellent communication skills.

• Solid understanding of financial management software.

• adequate and hands-on experience on ESW and import/export experience
