Scope of Role
Under the direct supervision of the logistics and distributor manager, the warehouse manager is responsible to ensure the inventory management activities and store facility for a maximum contribution to the overall objective of Komari Beverage. The warehouse manager performs duties to support the receiving, storage, dispatch, coordination of stock, documentation of transactions, transferring of stock to agents and overseeing the overall operation of the warehousing system.
Purpose of Role
To manage the company’s warehouses; making sure that product stock is available and replenished on time at all times, proper standards are developed and kept for the smooth operation of the warehousing system. Ensure an efficient and effective product and packaging material management and stores facility that enables the inventory management activities to contribute to the distribution and warehousing operation.
Make sure that warehouse operations are preformed to the company safety standards. All working procedures are conducted in line with the safety protocols of Komari beverage.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Building the warehousing team and system: develop a warehousing standard and operating system, build the warehousing team, Standardize the work of inventory management to what the company requires, Arrange materials in an excellent manner which affluence the level of service delivery at optimal level, See whether the minimum and maximum levels of stock are being managed according the variation of lead time, consumption trend are considered while SKU building.
Staffing and performance management: Recruit warehouse staff, Ensure planning and organization of staff shifts and resource allocation activity. Improve loading and unloading efficiency. Make sure all the goods movements are done with properly authorized documents with zero tolerance of delay. Development, tracking and evaluating of KPIs of the team and the third party transporter to contributing to the commercial objective.
Leadership and development: formulate a training and development plan for his/her team both at a group level and individually. Insure a healthy, easy to communicate and feedback driven working relationship with in the team, make sure the company’s policies and procedure are communicated and are adhered to by the team. Group activities are guided and tracked to achieve maximum effectiveness, Team member matrix is managed effectively, roles are allocated to and understood by each team member, Workplace resources are appropriately managed, Team members are kept informed of Company and departmental progress and changes, Formal communication channels are established and maintained.
Complete other responsibilities as assigned by his/her supervisor.
Qualifications Required:-
College degree or higher with a minimum of three years expertise in the logistics and warehousing preferably in an FMCG industry in Ethiopia out of which one year is in a supervisory role with good warehousing and inventory skill.

Demonstrated team leading skills,
Self-motivated
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Good report writing skills
Multi-tasker and goal oriented.
Takes initiative and is assertive
Proactive in decision makings
Very good Microsoft word and excel skills
