Job Description
A Sales Manager, or Sales Department Manager, is responsible for overseeing daily operations in the sales department. Their duties include hiring and training sales staff, relaying information from upper management to department staff about sales quotas and generating leads to divide among Sales Representatives.
Key Accountabilities
Act as Sales Manager – Local and Export sales for Garment Division
Prepare a Market study / Feasibility of Styles, Trends & work together with the Product Development Team on Developing Samples & submitting to prospective local & export customers.
Develop a Time & Action (T&A) Calendar to Follow up on the development process & ensure adherence (in coordination with respective internal/external parties such as Customers / Buyers, Suppliers, and Sample room to meet Customers' committed Deadlines).
Obtain Customer's requirements in Terms of Compliance & Quality, communicate same with the Internal PD Team /Factory & help facilitate the Factory approvals for Customers / Buyers.
Prepare a T&A (time & action) calendar for bulk order processing & monitoring process covering the entire production until delivery process whilst coordinating with the Customer/ Buyer to resolve any unforeseen manufacturing issues if any.
Maintain detailed records / data base of all orders sourced,
Perform additional duties commensurate with the present job role as and when requested by the Management
Preferable candidate, Kenyan working in Ethiopia
