Job Description
Under the general supervision of the Stores Supervisor the Storekeeper performs routine stock recording, dispatching and receiving materials from/to the Center within established policies, procedures and systems.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Accepts purchased materials and stores in the stores
Issues materials from stock against properly authorized issue vouchers
Receives finished products from the Rehabilitation Center’s workshops against Stores Receiving Notes
Registers daily all products received by issuing Stores Receiving Notes
Reports to the Stores Supervisor on items requested but not available in the stores
Reconciles daily the bin card balance and the physical count
Gives reference codes to the newly purchased Asset items
Receives and distributes dairy products and vegetables against proper registration as per the regulation of the organization
Ensures protection of stock from damages or spoilage
Maintains a register book for recording items received and issued
Shelves the finished products received and purchased items properly on the agreed storage system
Performs any other related duties as assigned to him/her by the Stores Supervisor or Admin. Officer or MRC Manager

Qualification
Diploma/ Certificate in stores/supplies/purchasing
Experience
