Job Description
IT officer are expected to display good interpersonal skills as they will interact with colleagues from various departments and executive levels. They are required to listen to their technical needs, understand their problems, and implement solutions to them.
IT officer Responsibilities
Co-ordinates the installation and implementation of business systems with outside software and hardware vendors
Liaises with appropriate support organizations relating to system problems
Maintains user accounts with level of authorization
Maintains security and checks proper backup of all data files and systems at all times
Performs periodic training of key users
Know how on audio visual system is a plus.
Responds courteously and efficiently to queries and problems from system users
Determines specific business system requirements by working with all users of computers in the hotel
Prepares reports as requested to develop a more informative database for improved management decision making and critical evaluation of work activities
Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues;
Performs the duties and responsibilities given by the department head his absence
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in ICT or related subject
Exposure on OPERA PMS System is a plus
Excellent communication skill, email correspondence clear and brief
Excellent English language skills and excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent team player skills
Flexible, efficient, and cooperative
Hones, trustworthy and respectful
Demonstrate sound work ethics
Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience preferably holding a similar position
