Procurement Managers, also known as purchasing managers, manage a company's sourcing capabilities and supply chain. They are responsible for strategizing and negotiating with suppliers and vendors in order to acquire the most cost-effective deals and reduce procurement expenses.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the CCBA Procurement Team with requirements for the development of Category Strategies in alignment with Stakeholder requirements.

• Drive the implementation, execution, and compliance management of the CCBA Procurement Leadership Team’s decisions.

• Support supplier development activities for key suppliers aligned with the CCBA Procurement Team and strategy, lead cross-functional review meetings with suppliers in order to improve performance and further reduce cost.

• Work in close collaboration with Procurement Specialists and CCBA Procurement Team to ensure local acceptance of new contracts.

• Coordinate contract implementation tasks with Procurement Specialists and users.

• In line with defined procurement strategy, support the classification and categorization of suppliers, including definition of supplier evaluation and audit policies.

• Manage internal customers feedback on procurement organization and supplier performance.

• Conduct periodic surveys to measure customer feedback for continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

First Degree in Procurement & Supplies Management/ Management/ Accounting or related field of studies with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience in both Foreign and Local Procurement out of which 4 years on managerial role.
