Job Description
Procurement Managers, also known as purchasing managers, manage a company's sourcing capabilities and supply chain. They are responsible for strategizing and negotiating with suppliers and vendors in order to acquire the most cost-effective deals and reduce procurement expenses.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the CCBA Procurement Team with requirements for the development of Category Strategies in alignment with Stakeholder requirements.
Drive the implementation, execution, and compliance management of the CCBA Procurement Leadership Team’s decisions.
Support supplier development activities for key suppliers aligned with the CCBA Procurement Team and strategy, lead cross-functional review meetings with suppliers in order to improve performance and further reduce cost.
Work in close collaboration with Procurement Specialists and CCBA Procurement Team to ensure local acceptance of new contracts.
Coordinate contract implementation tasks with Procurement Specialists and users.
In line with defined procurement strategy, support the classification and categorization of suppliers, including definition of supplier evaluation and audit policies.
Manage internal customers feedback on procurement organization and supplier performance.
Conduct periodic surveys to measure customer feedback for continuous improvement.
First Degree in Procurement & Supplies Management/ Management/ Accounting or related field of studies with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience in both Foreign and Local Procurement out of which 4 years on managerial role.
