The Accounting and Finance Manager will be responsible for daily bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivables, payroll, assistance with end-of-month close, grant reporting, audit preparation, and other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transaction.

• Publish financial statements in

• Conduct database backups when necessary.

• Handles petty cash and replenishment cost on monthly basis and performs daily cash balance on excel.

• Manage cost analysis and accounting .

• Control production reports and inventories .

• Prepare payroll.

• Maintain proper financial records on computer and filling of all relevant paper work

• Submit and reconcile expense reports.

• Can process tax payment to Ethiopian tax authority.

• Prepare annual, biannual, quarterly and monthly cash flows and update excel for daily cash inflow and out flow balance in bank accounts.

• Post transactions to Peachtree.

• Performs other accounting and financial related, and similar duties as required

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• BA degree in accounting and finance and business related field

• Minimum of 1 year experience and above
