Description 

• Under AM AM investment supervision of the Supervising Plumber, the incumbent is responsible for the full range of skilled plumbing work

• installation, maintenance, inspection, modification, remodel and repair of mechanical plumbing equipment and fixtures of water, steam, sewage, fire sprinkler/prevention, and refrigeration-water supply plumbing systems.

• The incumbent typically maintains, troubleshoots and tests plumbing systems, including backflow prevention devices;

• assembles, installs and repairs pumps, pipes, fittings, and fixtures; cuts, threads and brazes pipes;

• assembles and installs valves, pipe fittings and pipes composed of a variety of metals an materials;

• manages store utilities; advise on the selection, ordering and storage of plumbing equipment and supplies;

• inspects completed work for conformance with specifications, requirements and compliance with applicable building and safety codes and regulations;

• participates in the maintenance and operations of a plumbing shop;

• maintains and services tools and equipment used in the performance of duties;

• performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

• Ensure health and safety rules are fully followed at the workplace and any accidents are reported timely.

• Advising Supervisor on all plumbing material requirements for job completion.

Job Requirements

• Any combination of progressively responsible training and experience which demonstrates achievement journey-level skills equivalent to that acquired through completion of a standard plumber’s apprenticeship program

• must be able to perform skilled plumbing work on all applicable equipment and systems; perform applicable brazing work;

• make rough sketches of plumbing installations;

• read and work from blueprints, plans, drawings, and specifications; 

• Level IV with COC and BSC.

• At least 5/3 years of working experience.

• Good communication skill

• Team player and ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Flexibility and ability to attend to emergencies at short notice
