Job Description
Our Company SBG industry PLC seeks to hire competent, experienced and aspiring applicants to fill the following vacant position.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
Identifies the type and nature of raw materials, spare parts, Finished Goods and supplies which could be received by the Factory store.
Organizes and makes necessary arrangements of the store in order to manage, raw materials goods and services as to their nature.
Prepares required sheets to receive, maintain, and dispatch goods and supplies.
Ensures that goods and supplies are issued based on their shelf life, adequate method (LIFO/ FIFO), and proper authorization.
Facilitates store auditing mouthy and yearly inventory and makes necessary corrections based on the recommendation given.
Plans, coordinates and controls that vehicles and trucks of the company are properly assigned and utilized by the concerned departments.
Directs and coordinates traffic activities and fleet management of the trucks and vehicles.
Develops and implements fleet guidelines for transporting raw materials and finished goods products.
Ensures that trucks and vehicles are supported the operation area as required.
Follow up preventive performance, maintenance quality and spare parts availability and quality.
Facilitate legal requirements from road authority and traffic police
Counter check purchased fuel quantity and monitor fuel usage per truck.
Report daily performance of fleet maintenance and 42 days fleet service performance
Assures checklist and performance activities are registered properly
Report daily preventive maintenance performance and discrepancy on time
Assures that all fleets are maintained as per the schedule
Monitor fuel consumption of trucks
Follow up daily maintenance activities as per the plan
Maintains records of vehicles and trucks history including fuel and lubricant usage, distance travelled, maintenance performed, etc.
Schedules and ensures that timely maintenance is performed to vehicles and trucks.
Ensures that the availability of road worthy trucks for the distribution of products.
Ensures scheduled and emergency maintenance of trucks and vehicles is undertaken accordingly.
Supervises and controls employees assigned for the job

Required educational background & work experience:
BA Degree in Logistic & Supply Chain Management/ equivalent At least (4) Four years relevant work experience in the area.
Competencies /Knowledge, Ability and Skill
Good knowledge of traffic regulations and practices needed in the care and safety operation of assigned vehicle
Good knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety measures in the area of assignment
Ability to make emergency repair and adjustments to vehicle assigned
Excellent knowledge of materials management & inventory control principles
Excellent knowledge of reordering principles
Excellent knowledge of stock control rules and regulations
Ability to carry out physical count of stock items
